The World Baseball Academy is an area 501(c)3 nonprofit that focuses on using baseball as a platform to mentor young people.   Our organization works with over 3,000 youth from around Northeast Indiana. 

The World Baseball Academy is in the beginning stages of a significant capital campaign to completely transform the current ASH Centre facility into a first class outdoor amateur youth baseball complex.

Due to this capital campaign taking place, the World Baseball Academy is collaborating with a wide range of local organizations, community leaders, businesses, and the city of Fort Wayne.  

Our current interns are getting real life experience and their projects are being utilized as key marketing tools being given to a significant number of community leaders.   This internship is an OUTSTANDING opportunity to increase your network of relationships with the Fort Wayne community and beyond!

Responsibilities

The World Baseball Academ hosts several internships that project based.  The Video Editing / Creation internship would include video taping WBA programs, working with staff to design a script, and putting together short 2-3 minute promotional videos that demonstrate our mission fulfillment.

The projects range from creating videos on baseball instruction, to short-term international trips around the world, to capital campaign promotions, and general rental opportunities.

Qualifications

Any applicant must be comfortable with video editing and design softwares and have some experience having completed creating their own short videos.
