Description
The position of Parking Services Intern reports to the Parking Services Manager. This position is responsible for providing assistance in the planning and implementation of the activities of the Parking Services department during the State Fair.
Responsibilities
- Assist in hiring, scheduling and training seasonal Gates & Parking employees.
- Create and update orientation materials.
- Work with Gates Manager and group coordinators for registering, scheduling and training Fundraising group personnel.
- Assist with setting up gates and parking lots for the State Fair.
- Serve in operations role within the Parking Services department during the State Fair.
- During the summer, some evening and weekend work will be required; attendance is mandatory all 17 days of the State Fair.
