Simply put, internships lead students to careers and introduce employers to valuable talent.

Casey Spivey began her internship with the Indiana State Personnel Department the day after she graduated from college in 2012. Casey produced quality work for the agency’s talent acquisition initiatives, and before her internship ended, she was offered a full-time job as a benefits specialist.

Today, she still works for the State Personnel Department, managing human resources for the Pendleton Correctional Complex.

“Internships not only allow you to gain experience and build your résumé, but they also give you the opportunity to show an organization why you would make the perfect addition to their team,” Spivey said.

Our goal at Indiana INTERNnet is to help students and organizations like yours experience equally impactful and lasting outcomes together, but we can’t do it without your support.

Indiana employers, students and education institutions look to Indiana INTERNnet as the premier source for information and services to support internship connections in Indiana. With more than 6,500 employers and 14,000 students utilizing our website, www.IndianaINTERN.net is the only comprehensive searching service to discover the perfect intern or internship within the state.

"Indiana INTERNnet is an essential resource for connecting Hoosier students to relevant work experience that equips them for success in their future careers. We are proud to partner with Indiana INTERNnet through the state’s EARN Indiana work study program and our ongoing outreach efforts with students and families.”

On Giving Tuesday, we ask you to consider financially supporting Indiana INTERNnet. With your generous gift through a tax-deductible donation to our 501(c)3 nonprofit, we will be able to continue our work connecting employers with interns free of charge, as well as supporting Indiana’s workforce development strategic plan.

Your donation will help Indiana INTERNnet provide:

  • Personal guidance to you and other Indiana employers for establishing and continuing successful internship programs.
  • Technology to connect students with your valuable experiential learning opportunities.
  • Outreach to college/university students in Indiana about internship benefits and real-time, regionally-specific internship postings.

Please forward this to your organization’s charitable giving program with your support for our work. Complete and include this short form with your donation so we can acknowledge your contribution for tax purposes.
