Indiana INTERNnet is a business-education partnership between the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, Indiana employers and Indiana education institutions to promote the quality and quantity of internship opportunities statewide. www.IndianaINTERN.net serves as the state's online matching system connecting students and employers for internship opportunities. IndianaINTERNnet is currently offering a paid spring internship to assist staff members with various Indiana INTERNnet activities.
Internship will last approximately from January to April 2018 with flexibility dependent upon intern’s schedule. Parking is at intern’s expense.

Responsibilities
- Assist in writing organizational materials, such as e-newsletter articles, blog entries and ready-to-run stories
- Assist with social media accounts including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube
- Assist with planning and event logistics for summer intern engagement events
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Effort
Office environment, standing, sitting, walking, lifting between 10-25 lbs., speaking hearing and manual dexterity.
Qualifications
- Time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Collaboration and coordination across people and groups
- Organization and attention to detail
- Marketing and communications strategy development
- Idea expression, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with computer programs including Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), WordPress and social media
- Public relations, journalism, marketing, communications and hospitality majors preferred
