The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership exists to build a more prosperous Northeast Indiana for its residents.  Its mission is to build,  market and sell Northeast Indiana to increase business investment.  The Marketing Team provides branded marketing materials,  national public relations strategy and communications support for the Regional Partnership’s business attraction,  talent attraction and talent development goals.  The Marketing Intern will help advance the Regional Partnership’s goals by managing a diverse portfolio of projects aimed at ensuring Northeast Indiana has the marketing materials critical to selling and building our region.  The Marketing Intern will organize,  plan,  coordinate and execute on marketing materials to make Northeast Indiana a stronger contender to attract business and talent.

The Marketing Intern must be a team player,  proactive worker and staff supporter.  The intern must have a high school diploma.  They should enjoy a challenge,  be comfortable with tight schedules and excel at multi-tasking.  The intern should possess the following experience,  skills,  and characteristics:



Handling confidential matters

Using and learning a variety of computer programs

Public relations,  including public speaking and presentations

Event coordination and scheduling



Managing multiple and competing priorities and deadlines

Planning,  organizing,  executing,  and evaluating success

Clear and concise communication,  both written and verbal



Organized and detail-oriented

Self-directed and able to function successfully in an unstructured multi-tasking environment

Creative thinker,  from concept creation to implementation

Interest in developing interpersonal,  networking and team skills

Ability and willingness to continually improve technical expertise
