Franklin College Internship Fair

I would like to invite you to participate in the fifteenth annual “Franklin College Internship Fair” to be held Thursday, November 5, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Franklin College. You may have hosted Franklin College students in the past as interns, and if so, I want to thank you for the support you have shown those students. Your part in giving them solid work experiences has complimented their academic studies. 

Each year, more than 200 Franklin College students participate in a formal internship.  Out of our most recent graduates, nearly 100% complete a formal internship, for credit, during their college career, and many of those completed more than one internship.  These days, it is extremely important, if not imperative, for students to have opportunities to gain practical, meaningful work experience before heading into their job search and the world of work.

Students found the 2014 event to be very helpful in their search for winter term, spring semester and summer internships. They appreciated being able to meet on-campus, face-to-face with internship supervisors.  I will have a table for you to set up a display and to put out literature regarding your organization and your internship(s).   If you have any special needs, please let me know as soon as possible, and I will try to accommodate you.  I will also provide a boxed lunch.
