Summary:
The Exhibit Production Intern will be focusing on exhibit fabrication projects of upcoming exhibits. Interns will also learn the process of gallery installations.
Responsibilities
Possible internship activities include:
- General carpentry and fabrication
- Case work
- Exhibit construction
- Exhibit Installation
Qualifications
Working Conditions:
- A majority of this work will be done behind-the-scenes
- Some lifting and work with heavy materials
- Can be a loud work environment at times
Experience/Requirements:
- Junior status or above preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work as a team
Areas of Study/Interests:
- Be majoring in Furniture or Sculpture
- Be comfortable operating woodworking equipment
