Early Childhood Educator Intern

East Bank Learning Center is looking for candidates that are interested in a career in early childhood. East Bank is a nationally accredited, high quality early childhood school that educates children ages 1-6 yrs. We are looking for leaders that will be quick to learn, seek growth and knowledge in education and the HighScope curriculum, and want a fun, fast-paced working environment.

Responsibilities

Interns will be assigned to one of our seven classrooms based on need, availability, and preference. Students will learn best practices of a NAEYC high quality, early learning program, while utilizing the HighScope curriculum.

Interns will engage students throughout the day with consistent routines, and developmentally appropriate lesson plans. Interns will interact with leadership team members for mentoring, goal setting and coaching.

Qualifications

CPR/First Aid certified* Cerification provided for eligible candidates

Previous experience working in early childhood field

Desire for a career in education setting, professional development, and cross functional training.
