Front End Developer Internship

Ruoff Mortgage is looking for an Front End Developer intern. This position will assist with designing and modifying computer applications, along with working the IT team on software and projects. This position is located on site, at our Corporate Headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist Front End Development team with supporting all company related digital and electronic communication needs
  • Code, test, and troubleshoot programs utilizing appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology
  • Improves systems already in place by studying current practices, identifying problems, designing modifications, and writing improved procedures
  • Partners with other business groups to ensure accurate content is on website at all times
  • Manage records, logs, and reports of problems and resolutions
  • Maintains a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for a high level of confidentiality and security while handing personal information; verbal and/or written documentation
  • Perform other tasks as requested

Qualifications

  • Must be working towards Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Previous web development training is a plus
  • Technical writing skills are a plus
  • Knowledge of CSS (SCSS, Tailwind), Javascript (Vue.JS), PHP, and other similar skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products-Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Attention to detail, multi-tasking and broad communication skills are essential
