IT Support Internship
Ruoff Mortgage is looking for an IT Support intern. This position will assist the IT Support Team with various tasks for the company-wide Ruoff team. This position is located on site, at our Corporate Headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate/troubleshoot user problems, identify sources, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions
  • Assists with Active Directory sync and cleanup, IT Help Desk tickets, Mitel Portal Directory snyc and cleanup
  • Assist with imaging new laptops and equipment set up for new hires
  • Performs and/or oversees software and application installation and upgrades
  • Maintains records, logs, and reports of assistance
  • Assist in the migration of legacy systems to cloud systems
  • Gain knowledge of virtual environments, including VMware and Nutanix
  • Help establish consistent documentation of IT environment
  • Assist with maintaining and securing IT servers and network
  • Maintains a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for a high level of confidentiality and security while handing personal information; verbal and/or written documentation
  • Perform other tasks as requested

Qualifications

  • Must be working towards Bachelor’s degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products-Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Attention to detail, multi-tasking and broad communication skills are essential
